CAD Associate - REMOTE

Entry Level Cad Engineer

Insight Global is seeking an Entry Level CAD Engineer to support one of our large Telecommunications clients. This individual will be responsible for converting as-built construction documentation and engineering designs into accurate AutoCAD drawings. The ideal candidate will have foundational AutoCAD experience, strong attention to detail, and a basic understanding of fiber optic network architecture. Responsibilities include interpreting as-built construction documents, field sketches, and engineering designs;

creating and updating 2D drawings using AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D; converting existing construction and engineering documentation into detailed CAD drawings; maintaining accuracy and consistency across telecommunications design packages; reviewing and revising drawings based on project updates and engineering feedback; collaborating with engineering and design teams to ensure documentation is up to date and compliant with project standards; organizing and maintaining CAD files and related project documentation;

and working primarily in an office environment, spending the majority of time creating and modifying drawings at a computer workstation. Pay rate range: $20-$22/hr.
