We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with expertise in the design and delivery of colocation and hyperscale data center facilities for large-scale data centers.
This position offers a flexible remote work schedule and may require occasional travel for client meetings and project milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement electrical systems for hyper-scale data centers, including medium and low-voltage power distribution, backup power systems, and emergency systems.
- Responsible for electrical calculations and development of drawings in accordance to client specifications and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain electrical schematics, bills of materials, and installation drawings.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations, including National Electric Code (NEC).
- Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to develop specifications, design criteria, and project budgets.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in electrical engineering and data center technologies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering with 6+ years of MEP design experience.
- Experience with colocation and hyperscale data center projects.
- Experience working in Revit and ACC.
- Experience working in power system analysis such as SKM, or ETAP.
- Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC), Building codes including IBC and IECC.
- Professional Engineer License (P.E.).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with mission critical infrastructure standards, and data center design requirements.
- Experience with data center design and construction, including design criteria and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
