  • Maintaining effective communication and strong working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Assuming responsibility for the technical adequacy and quality of assigned engineering deliverables.
  • Supporting multiple concurrent projects within a dynamic and collaborative project environment.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in substation engineering, strong technical leadership capabilities, and excellent collaboration skills. Required qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressively responsible experience in substation design, physical engineering, and/or QA/QC activities.
  • Extensive experience with utility substation standards and designs, particularly within high-voltage environments.
  • Proven expertise in designing substations ranging from 4kV to 500kV.
  • Strong proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
  • In-depth understanding of utility and industry engineering standards, including experience applying client-specific design requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience preparing engineering calculations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across teams and clients.
  • Leadership capabilities with experience mentoring and supporting engineering professionals.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
