Job Title

Responsibilities of the Position:

• Responsibility along the process-technical value chain for offer and project management in plant construction
• (Process-) technical support during the offer phase: studying and evaluating tender documents, including technical clarification discussions on site or with customers
• Checking and adapting existing documents (e.g., designs, specifications, R&I schemes) for container and power plant facilities
• Designing cycles (e.g., cooling, oil, steam cycles) and plant equipment (pumps, filters, etc.) for container and power plant facilities
• Recording the process-technical energy balance of existing facilities and developing proactive proposals for improvement measures derived from it
• Proactive engagement and support in cost optimization projects and the further development of our solutions in the sense of value creation and increasing customer benefit
• Leading technical, cross-departmental discussions regarding plant layout and equipment arrangement of our solutions for new and renovation projects
• Responsible for revision-controlled archiving of all technical documents created in this area
• Strong initiative and close cooperation with neighboring areas in project management (e.g., construction, electrical engineering, project management, and purchasing)
• Responsible for compliance with deadlines according to project time and purchasing plan
• Cooperation with various customers and stakeholders

Qualifications, Requirements, and

Experience:

• Dipl. Ing./Bachelor / Master of Engineering in mechanical engineering, process engineering, or a comparable degree
• Several years of experience in process engineering of power plants or general plant construction
• Familiarity with applicable methods and standards in energy plant construction (e.g., DVGW, VGB,...)
• Experience in the optimization of plants
• Advantageous:
  Experience in the areas of commissioning or operation & maintenance of plants
• Fluent English skills in speech and writing
• Working in an international team on high-performance products with a high customer focus
• Structured and goal-oriented working method
• Independent, proactive, and flexible working style
• Ability to prioritize and work focused and concentrated at the same time
• Travel readiness (domestic and international) for approx. 25% of the working time to construction sites, customer meetings, workshops, suppliers, etc.
• Home office possible on a partial basis (up to 40%)
