Senior Engineer (m/w/d) Civil, Structure & Architecture

In your new role, you will be responsible for interesting and complex projects in industrial plant construction with a focus on civil, structure, and architecture. You will independently manage and coordinate the construction planning phases (building and architecture) in close collaboration with other project disciplines throughout all planning phases, from early project phases of concept planning and feasibility analysis to the commissioning of the erected plants or buildings.

You will accompany our multidisciplinary project teams in the development of offers and calculations. Your responsibilities will range from creating construction concepts to designing the project planning in detail and execution planning together with your team. Additionally, you will prepare cost estimates, work on bidding documents in construction technology, coordinate and supervise subcontracted specialists or experts such as consultants or structural engineers, and accompany approval procedures for construction applications, procedures under the Federal Immission Control Act, Occupational Safety and Health Act, or mining law, among others.

Since our projects are handled in Germany and abroad in Europe, you will regularly maintain contact with international project teams and exchange professionally.

The qualifications you bring include a successful engineering (higher) education in civil engineering or architecture, preferably with a focus on structural engineering. Ideally, you have substantial professional experience in the execution of industrial construction projects and are accustomed to working in international project teams. You demonstrate very good knowledge in civil or structural engineering and excellent knowledge of all planning phases and national and European standards/regulations.

International project experience is desirable. You are familiar with the common planning tools for construction execution and have excellent MS Office skills. We expect communication skills and customer orientation for a proactive and sustainable support approach. Very good German and English skills in writing and speaking. You also bring temporary national and international travel readiness.
