We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Gas Engineer who will play a vital role in assisting the Gas Network/Service Engineer to install, replace and maintain underground pipework and associated equipment at customer’s premises and public highways.

Starting Salary Dependent on experience: £31,000 - £35,000 per annum + Overtime + Pension + Healthcare

• Work safely at all times wearing relevant PPE.
• Assist the Gas Network/Service Engineer with all aspects of the role.
• Domestic & Commercial site work including installations, replacement and maintenance of underground pipe work.
• Operating pneumatic tooling in a safe manner.
• Use of breathing apparatus.
• Travel will be required as part of the role.

• Hold a full, valid UK driving licence.
• Be eligible to work unrestricted in the UK.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Be flexible and willing to travel.
• Be an organised individual.
• Ideally hold a EUSR SHEA Gas safety qualification.
• Ideally hold a NRSWA certificate for operatives.
• Ideally hold a NPORS plant operators qualification.
