Develop & manage lab scale tests to categorize ores & analyze processing options. Req:
Bach. Deg. in Metallurgy, Chemistry, Chemical Eng., Mineral Eng., or related. 5 years of exp. in any metallurgical Eng. and mineral processing role in the mining industry. 5 years of exp. with large-scale comminution circuits for mining operations. 5 years of exp. with grinding mill setups & operations at mining sites. 5 years of exp. in metallurgical laboratory work performing grinding testing including Work Index, Abrasion Index, & mineral preparation;
& flotation testing focused on reagent screening, optimal reagent dosage, and evaluating flotation conditions. 5 years of exp. managing vendor relationships in the mining industry. Demonstrated knowledge of grinding media, including SAG (semi-autonomous grinding) balls, & ball milling. Position based in Tucson, AZ. Work from home available from any location within normal commuting distance from Tucson, AZ. Will be required to visit domestic and international client sites 80% of the time.
