** Senior Critical Environment Battery Monitoring System Engineer
** you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, One Drive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. ** Responsibilities*
* ** Governance and standardization:*
* + Act as a technical resource during global BMS deployments, providing expert troubleshooting as needed.
+ Address and solve complex technical issues that arise, enhancing system reliability and performance.
+ Implement global standards and identify areas for continuous improvement.
+ Stay current in industry knowledge, driving adoption of new solutions and innovation within the BMS program.
** Collaboration and testing:*
* + Oversee the lab BMS deployment for testing, troubleshooting, and alignment with production standards.
+ Partner with security on BMS application review and drive resolution of security findings with BMS supplier.
+ Collaborate with partner teams to improve system design, interactions between technology layers, and support infrastructure, improving reliability and availability.

** Qualifications*

* Required Qualifications:

* + Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or related field AND 3+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, service engineering, systems engineering or industrial controls
+ OR equivalent experience.
** Other Requirements:*
* + Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
+ Microsoft Cloud Background Check:
This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
