Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and management of detailed project schedules covering all phases of data center construction, from design through closeout.
- Define activities, sequence workflows, estimate durations, and allocate resources to build accurate project timelines.
- Identify critical paths, key milestones, and dependencies to ensure schedules align with owner objectives.
- Track progress against the baseline schedule, preparing regular reports with earned value, milestone, and variance analyses.
- Identify schedule risks early, assess potential impacts, and recommend or implement mitigation strategies.
- Perform what‑if analyses and develop recovery schedules to keep projects on track amid changes or disruptions.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and vendors to align and communicate schedule updates effectively.
- Coordinate subcontractor and supplier schedules into a cohesive master schedule using tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
- Optimize workflows and resource allocations to enhance efficiency and meet project deadlines.
- Document actual versus planned timelines, maintain historical schedule data, and analyze lessons learned for future improvement.
- Work in a flexible location arrangement, including remote work, client onsite, or at an Accenture office or center.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 10+ years of experience in project scheduling, preferably with pharmaceutical experience and Autodesk Project Forma; fully capable of developing, analyzing, and optimizing schedule performance.
- Proficiency in scheduling tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent platforms.
- Proven ability to manage complex schedules for large‑scale projects, ensuring alignment with owner objectives.
- Knowledge of industry standards such as PMI or AACE scheduling guidelines.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, workflows, and dependencies, with a focus on MEP systems.
- Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse project teams and stakeholders.
$120,000 - $170,000 a year
