• Prepare calculations for feeders, services, short circuit, transformer sizing.
• Design building electrical distribution, fire alarm, and security systems.
• Perform on‑site surveys of existing electrical equipment.
• Determine schedules and details required for the project, review with project engineer.
• Attend job meetings as required.
• Ensure flow of information between disciplines.
• Assist in writing reports and feasibility studies.
• Prepare cost estimates and specifications.

• 10+ years of experience designing electrical power distribution infrastructure, fire alarm systems, lighting systems (interior and exterior), and lighting controls.
• Familiarity with short‑circuit, arc‑flash coordination, interior and exterior lighting design, and photometric calculations.
• Background in commercial and healthcare facilities strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Knowledge of applicable codes, including energy‑conservation codes.
• PE preferred; EIT certification required.
• LEED accreditation preferred.
• Proficiency with Revit design software; at least one year of formal design use.
• General understanding of Microsoft Office.
