Civil​/Structural Engineer

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Civil / Structural Engineer for a Remote position with a Global Engineering Firm located in Conshohocken, PA. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity.

This role involves performing a variety of civil and structural engineering tasks, including calculations, 3D modeling, and assisting in the creation of contract drawings. The ideal candidate will have strong design experience and effective communication skills to coordinate with team members, management, and clients.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain effective communications with department members, higher management, and with clients
• Perform calculations (hand calculations, computer aided calculations using spreadsheets and mathcad), and 3D modeling
• Assist in creation of contract drawings by providing drawing input to the civil designer

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering
• Professional Engineering (P.E.) License is required
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in civil engineering design
• Advanced working proficiency in Civil 3D
• Exposure to permitting and permit processes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Desired skills:

• Working knowledge of Hydraflow, Pond Pack, WaterCAD, StormCAD, or similar software

Pay range: up to $60.00 per hour
