Project Engineer-Solar

We are looking for a Project Engineer – Solar to join our client’s team for a 1‑year W‑2 contract assignment. The role supports solar farm design and construction and requires managing third‑party contractor teams to develop engineering designs for solar projects. The position is based in Juno Beach, FL 33408, but remote work is acceptable with occasional travel to the office in Juno Beach.

Location: Juno Beach, FL 33408. Remote work is allowed; candidates are expected to travel to the office periodically, especially in the first 3–6 months.

Contract Term: 1‑year, W‑2. The salary range is estimated at $55.00/hr to $60.00/hr, dependent on experience, qualifications and skills.

• Apply value engineering to balance reliability, cost, and performance for complex systems across electrical, structural, civil, and materials disciplines.
• Coordinate project team members and mobilize engineering teams to achieve project objectives.
• Manage project schedules and budgets for major capital projects.

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (electrical, civil, mechanical, aerospace, chemical or equivalent).
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in engineering and project management for utility‑scale solar projects (exceptions may be considered for fewer years if the experience is a good match).
• Experience in utility‑scale solar or related power‑industry fields (wind, BESS, combined cycle, nuclear, hydrogen, substation, transmission, etc.), as well as strong candidates with experience outside the power industry (aerospace, civil/stormwater, etc.).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a proven record of coordinating multidisciplinary project teams.
