Illinois Department of Transportation is seeking a Traffic Structures Engineer to perform evaluation of field inspections and in-depth investigations for traffic structures, and to prepare, review, and update simple to moderately complex design plans in the Sign Structures Manual.
The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering (ABET-accredited) or an Illinois Engineer Intern/Professional Engineer license and 37 months of civil engineering experience. Travel and licensing requirements apply.
