Salary: $70,000 - $130,000 per year. Hosted by:
Brian Perkins. As a member of the team, you will contribute by performing geotechnical field investigations, drafting engineering reports, preparing cost estimates and proposals, performing routine tests and computations, laboratory testing, attending project meetings, occasional travel and remote work, and lifting up to approximately 75 pounds.
- Perform geotechnical field investigations including test pits, test borings, slope reconnaissance, and hand augers.
- Draft geotechnical engineering reports.
- Prepare cost estimates and proposals (subject to skill confirmation).
- Perform routine tests and computations associated with geotechnical engineering and field observations.
- Perform laboratory testing and analyses in support of construction and geotechnical engineering projects.
- Attend project meetings, both in-house and with clients.
- Occasionally travel and work in remote areas under adverse conditions.
- Occasionally lift up to approximately 75 pounds.
- 1–8 years of experience in geotechnical or related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, or related field;
Master's in Geotechnical Engineering or related is preferred. - Completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering/Engineer-In-Training (EIT) exam or scheduled to complete.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
