WFH Customer Service - Entry-Level

Overview

Entry-Level Civil Engineer position with YU & Associates in New Jersey. The role will be on-site in the Elmwood Park location, contributing to site/civil design on projects including airport design, mixed-use developments, residential, and higher education land development.

• Serve as a member of an integrated design team and coordinate civil design with other disciplines to meet project schedules and budgets.
• Design site civil infrastructure under the guidance of licensed engineers.
• Collaborate on on-site and airport-related design efforts as part of a broader project team.
• Prepare and review design documentation, ensuring adherence to project standards and requirements.
• Contribute to both field and office assignments as required.

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required; master’s degree preferred.
• EIT (Engineer in Training) strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D; strong technical skills and ability to learn new skills quickly.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); knowledge of Micro Station a plus.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to work independently or in a team.
• Self-starter with good problem-solving abilities; understanding of basic engineering theories and design issues.
• Valid driver’s license and own transportation; willingness to perform field and office tasks as required.
