Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager (EPC) for a permanent, direct-hire opportunity for our client in the water/wastewater solutions industry. This individual will lead complex, multi-discipline projects from initiation through completion, ensuring successful delivery across scope, schedule, and budget. The role involves overseeing construction and execution activities, managing client relationships, and coordinating internal and external stakeholders. This candidate will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, maintaining quality standards, and delivering high-impact infrastructure projects in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
Day-to-Day:- Manage projects from contract award through execution and final closeout
- Oversee construction, fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases
- Monitor project performance against budget, schedule, and deliverables
- Serve as primary client contact and lead meetings, reporting, and updates
- Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors
- Develop and execute construction and project plans
- Ensure compliance with quality standards through inspections and testing
- Maintain project documentation and reporting systems
- Identify and mitigate risks related to safety, cost, schedule, and operations
- Manage financials including budgets, forecasts, and change orders

- 4+ years of Project Management experience in semiconductor, Oil & Gas, or similar 'mega-project' environments ($100M+)
- Experience reviewing P&IDs as Mechanical Engineer, Project Engineer (or similar)
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred)
- Client-facing experience with strong communication skills
- Experience with construction, installation, and commissioning activities
- Ability to travel (approx. 25%) to client construction sites Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- PMP (Preferred)
- AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, Revit, or Navisworks experience
- Experience with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), inspections, and QA/QC processes
- Experience in the Water / Wastewater or Chemical Processing Industry
- Experience managing change orders, cost savings, and margin improvement initiatives
