As a Federal Civil Engineer, you will have the opportunity to:

• Focus on the delivery of civil site development projects and assist in the design, construction, and project management of projects involving grading design, stormwater design, erosion control, culvert design, pavement design, and more.
• Contribute to the planning and design of complex site development projects.
• Have hands‑on involvement in the permitting process.
• Have significant interaction with multidisciplinary internal teams and external clients.

• Support civil site development design including grading, drainage, stormwater systems, utilities, erosion control, and pavement layouts.
• Assist with preparation of plans, specifications, reports, and permitting documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Participate in project planning, scheduling, and coordination with federal clients and contractors.
• Engage in field visits and on‑site reviews as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients and project partners in a professional, solutions‑oriented manner.

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related discipline.
• Licensed PE or active pursuit of registration.
• Understanding of civil site development (site plans, permitting, grading, stormwater management).
• Working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Exposure to transportation‑related civil design.
• Comfort in client‑facing roles, including presenting technical information.
• Ability to work across teams and contribute to multi‑disciplinary project delivery.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new engineering challenges.
• Ability to support multiple projects and manage deadlines in a collaborative environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
• Eligibility to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, motor vehicle records).
• Active engineering registration or licensure to support engineer of record requirements for BV projects.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.
