We are seeking a qualified Mid-Level Reliability Engineer in Arlington, VA. This position is not eligible for hybrid or remote work situations. This is a 100% on-site, in-office position.
PositionDescription:
The selectee will perform as the Decision Technologies Reliability Engineer for a US Navy Weapons Engineering and Program Acquisition Support contract.
YOU MUST BE ELIGIBLE FOR A DOD SECRET CLEARANCE
Responsibilities- Apply the theories and principles of science and mathematics to research and develop economical solutions to technical problems
- Provide technical assistance in reviewing maintenance concepts, plans, and Maintenance Index Pages/Maintenance Requirements Cards. Prepare and participate in reviews for Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability data, metrics, and briefings
- Develop and update CASREP data and prepare briefing materials for senior PEO and Fleet representatives
- Assist with the development of depot maintenance requirements, including planning and implementation of various recertification and refurbishment efforts
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical discipline
- At least 4 years' experience engineering the reliability, maintainability, and availability (RM&A) of US Navy platforms or weapon systems
- Master's Degree in a relevant technical discipline
- 6 years' experience engineering the reliability, maintainability, and availability (RM&A) of US Navy platforms or weapon systems
- Direct experience with RM&A engineering for specific Navy terminal defense systems such as RAM and CIWS.
- An active DoD SECRET clearance
- Prior SIPR account and experience using SIPR systems
- Ability to work effectively with team members and subcontractors from various technical, acquisition, and administrative disciplines
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to develop and deliver coherent and concise customer presentations
