This individual will be responsible for developing and improving commodity management and sourcing processes to enhance price, quality, timing, and reliability outcomes for our plastics commodity

Develops a strategic plan for a commodity and supply base Collaborates with multiple business units to execute Supply Chain strategies Owns and responsible for relationship with multiple strategic suppliers Evaluates and selects supplier alignment based on price competitiveness, capability, quality, reliability (TCO) Negotiates and executes long term agreements with supply base that aligns with commodity strategy and internal stakeholders needs Leads sourcing process from RFQ to contract signature Works with limited oversight from leadership Manages several projects at one time with a variety of complexity Clearly communicate commodity or project status to leadership Ability to identify and pursue VA/VE opportunities through collaboration with internal stakeholders Lead change management or work transfer projects for cost savings or better alignment with supply base.

Analyzes data and information to determine reasonable prices. Able and willing to coach peers as needed Influence and support Collins strategic initiatives and change management projects. Must be willing and able to travel 20% of the time (domestic and international)

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract 3+ years of prior supply chain experience 2+ years of technical experience with plastics 2+ years of manufacturing/operations experience with plastics
