The Senior Reliability Engineer is responsible for improving equipment reliability, reducing unplanned downtime, and supporting maintenance and manufacturing teams through data‑driven root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives. This role focuses heavily on manufacturing equipment health, preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, and continuous improvement of production processes.

The Senior Reliability Engineer also mentors maintenance and operations personnel to strengthen technical capability within the manufacturing environment. This position reports to the Director of Facilities and is part of the Maintenance and Engineering team located in Pensacola, Florida, and will be an on‑site role. • Analyze equipment performance and failure data to identify root causes, document findings, and implement corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence. Assess and manage equipment obsolescence risks, identify aging or unsupported manufacturing assets, and lead projects to replace outdated equipment with modern, more reliable technology.
• Drive continuous improvement projects and reliability initiatives focused on reducing process variation, minimizing equipment‑related waste, and improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Establish and maintain critical spare parts strategies to improve equipment availability, maintenance standards, and equipment reliability documentation.
• Improve manufacturing equipment reliability by developing and optimizing preventive and predictive maintenance programs, including vibration analysis, thermography, lubrication programs, and condition monitoring tools. Partners with production and maintenance teams to troubleshoot equipment issues, reduce unplanned downtime, and increase production throughput.
