Position Overview  

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple utility infrastructure projects for a single client. This role will manage the engineering and construction of a new substation, substation upgrades, transmission line replacements, and distribution line replacement projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong project management background in engineering, utility, or construction environments and be comfortable coordinating cross-functional teams while driving projects to successful completion.

Key Responsibilities:

+  Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of utility infrastructure projects, including:

+  New substation construction

+  Substation upgrades

+  Transmission line replacement

+  Distribution line replacement

+  Coordinate project activities from initiation through completion, ensuring projects remain on schedule and within scope.

+  Lead project meetings by preparing agendas, documenting meeting minutes, and tracking action items.

+  Monitor project schedules, milestones, budgets, and deliverables while providing regular status updates to stakeholders.

+  Collaborate with engineering, construction, and client teams to resolve project issues and maintain project momentum.

+  Support technical discussions and coordinate with subject matter experts to address project-related challenges.

+  Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure compliance with project requirements.

+  Travel occasionally to project sites in Dalhart, TX, as needed. Travel expenses will be reimbursed.

Qualifications:

+  Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably supporting engineering, utility, or construction projects.

+  Experience managing capital infrastructure, transmission, distribution, or substation projects is highly preferred.

+  Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.

+  Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively coordinate multiple stakeholders.

+  Experience facilitating meetings, tracking action items, and managing project documentation.

+  Ability to identify project risks and assist in resolving technical and scheduling issues.

+  Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software (Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar) is preferred.

+  Willingness and ability to travel occasionally to Dalhart, TX.
