Remote RF Design Engineer (Compact RF Power Amplifier)
The RF Design Engineer will be responsible for designing an active RF power amplifier with a power output ranging from 10 to 20 watts. This role involves developing designs from scratch while managing the entire design cycle within a frequency range of 30-2600 MHz. The position is suited for those who can work within a moderately SWaP-constrained design environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design a compact RF power amplifier with a power output of 10-20 watts.
- Work with frequency ranges from 30 MHz to 2600 MHz.
- Engage in ultra-high efficiency power amplifier design.
- Design sub-band filters.
- Implement limited mixed signal design using small FPGAs on RF printed circuit boards (PCBs).
- Collaborate closely within a heavy engineering design and manufacturing environment.
Essential
Skills:
- 15+ years of RF Hardware Design Experience.
- Proficiency in schematic, electrical engineering, and digital electronics.
- Expertise in hardware and digital circuit design.
- Experience with ultra-high efficiency power amplifier design.
- Familiarity with mixed signal design using small FPGAs.
Additional Skills &
Qualifications:
- Experience with small FPGAs for basic control is a bonus.
- Experience in a sr. level role involving RF power amplifier design.
Work Environment:
The role is based in a heavy engineering design and manufacturing environment where all products are designed and manufactured in-house. The company works on cutting-edge tactical radios for military applications, contributing to the safety of military and law enforcement personnel.

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $72.00 - $96.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
