- 1. You will develop, implement, and continuously improve EHS management systems, policies, and procedures in line with local regulations and Hitachi Energy global standards.
- 2. You will conduct regular EHS inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards, assess risks, and recommend corrective actions.
- 3. You will investigate all EHS incidents, accidents, and near misses, determining root causes and implementing preventative measures.
- 4.You will provide EHS training and awareness programs to all employees, contractors, and visitors, ensuring understanding and compliance.
- 5. You will prepare and submit all required EHS reports to regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders.
- 6. You will manage hazardous waste streams, ensuring proper disposal and compliance with environmental regulations.
- 7. You will oversee the implementation and maintenance of emergency preparedness and response plans.
- 8. You will collaborate with various departments to integrate EHS considerations into all business operations and projects.
- 9. You will stay up-to-date with new EHS legislation, industry best practices, and technological advancements.
- 10. You will participate in EHS committees and promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
- 11. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

- 1. Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in EHS management, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- 3. Strong knowledge of Korean EHS laws and regulations (e.g., Industrial Safety and Health Act, Environmental Management Act).
- 4. Demonstrated experience in implementing and maintaining EHS management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
- 5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills in both Korean and English.
- 6. Proven ability to conduct effective EHS training and awareness programs.
- 7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- 8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- 9. Relevant EHS certifications (e.g., Certified Safety Professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist) are highly desirable.
