Characterization of photonic integrated circuits and components for quantum communication

Planning, preparation, execution, and documentation of experiments, system tests, and component validation

Software programming (C++ or Python) for device control, data analysis, and simulations

What you contribute

• Full-time student of physics, communications engineering or electrical engineering with good to very good grades
• Professional commitment and motivation
• Team spirit, ability to work independently and autonomously
• Good communication skills in German and English
• Experience in one or more of the tasks (see above) is advantageous

The position is initially limited to 1 year. An extension is explicitly desired.

The monthly working time is 80 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis.
