Job Description

Our Building Enclosure team works primarily throughout Colorado and neighboring states, with clients across the country. Our projects focus on commercial and multifamily residential buildings. We are seeking a self-motivated Building Enclosure Field Technician with a strong work ethic and an interest in energy efficiency and sustainable building performance.

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field; equivalent AEC industry experience will also be considered
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and ability to travel to project sites throughout Colorado’s Front Range up to 80% of the time, with occasional overnight travel up to 10%
  • Ability to work from the Denver office approximately two days per week, in addition to assigned field work
  • Ability to work independently on active construction sites, including climbing ladders/scaffolding, working outdoors in varying weather conditions, and lifting/transporting equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a hybrid work environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to audiences with various levels of experience
  • Ability to work effectively with teammates, clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders
  • 1-5 years of relevant experience in building enclosure consulting, commissioning (BECx, LEED), field testing, or a related field
    • Candidates with greater experience may be considered for a higher-level position
  • Experience with whole-building air tightness testing, water penetration testing (ASTM E1105 and AAMA 501.2), infrared thermography, air/water/thermal barrier inspections, and IECC performance verification
