Sr Civil Structural Architectural Engineer

The Senior CSA (Civil, Structural, Architectural) Engineer provides senior-level technical leadership and project execution oversight for complex industrial and infrastructure projects. Operating in a highly visible, client-facing capacity, this role coordinates and interfaces directly with Clients, Global Integrated Delivery (GID), and Home Office (HO) teams. The Senior CSA Engineer ensures safe, high-quality, and commercially viable project delivery across the complete project lifecycle, leveraging sound commercial awareness and deep structural expertise to solve complex engineering challenges.

Core Responsibilities

• Provide Technical Leadership & Execution: Lead technical execution across the CSA scope, verifying that all deliverables comply with client guidelines, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee Technical Documentation & Procurement: Incorporate technical specifications into equipment and material datasheets, testing requirements, and requisitions. Lead technical bid evaluations, vendor data reviews, and certification activities.
• Manage Stakeholder & Inter-Office Interfaces: Act as the primary CSA interface among Clients, GID, and Home Office teams. Facilitate technical coordination, resolve complex engineering issues, and maintain strong client relationships.
• Support Field Constructability & Operations: Participate in constructability, operability, and maintainability reviews. Develop plans and documentation for construction, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and facility handover, providing direct site support when required.
• Drive Quality Assurance & Review: Review and authorize engineering work completed by discipline engineers, designers, and specialists to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project requirements.
• Champion Health, Safety & Sustainability: Implement hands-on Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) leadership, embedding safe and sustainable engineering practices throughout the entire asset lifecycle.
• Support Project Controls & Strategy: Contribute to cost estimating, proposal development, budget management, and project execution strategies while operating within approved schedules and financial boundaries.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• Licensure: Active Professional Engineer (PE) license where mandated by jurisdiction.
• Experience: 10+ years of progressive CSA engineering experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a technical leadership or project management role.
• Codes & Best Practices: Advanced knowledge of relevant industry codes, safety regulations, manufacturing standards, and civil/structural best practices.
• Project Delivery: Proven track record of establishing discipline work processes, executing complex engineering packages, supporting proposal development, and managing project closeout activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Training or direct experience in technical risk management and formal quality management systems.
• Practical exposure to procurement procedures, construction execution, and field engineering activities.
• Formal leadership training and advanced expertise in project budgeting and financial cost control.
• Proficiency with discipline-specific data environments, alongside familiarity with Microsoft Access or Visio.
