Position Overview

Freese and Nichols is seeking an Engineering Project Manager with a strong technical background in Water/Wastewater Master Planning and Hydraulic Modeling for our Greenville office. We offer a collaborative environment and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities
  • Lead multiple project teams for municipal water and wastewater studies, including integrated master plans, water distribution and sewer collection system hydraulic evaluations, water quality in distribution systems, and asset management.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams.
  • Plan, schedule, and manage project tasks and budgets.
  • Work with utilities to solve complex issues and develop capital improvement plans.
  • Participate in client development, sales/marketing, and proposal development activities.
  • Demonstrate polished professional communication skills, including technical writing and verbal presentation.
  • Use statistical programming languages (preferred but not required).
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • 10+ years of related experience in water or wastewater engineering.
  • Experience with hydraulic modeling software, such as Autodesk products (Info Water, Info Works ICM, InfoSWMM) or Bentley products (SewerGEMS, WaterGEMS).
  • Experience with GIS applications in water and wastewater planning.
  • South Carolina Engineer (PE) license or the ability to become licensed in South Carolina within six months.
