Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist

Note:
This is an in person position in Hightstown, New Jersey, that requires collaboration and teamwork. Remote work will only be temporarily approved if there are extenuating circumstances.

The EHS Specialist is responsible for assisting clients with compliance in occupational, environmental, health, safety, and security regulations across diverse industries, including manufacturing and chemical distribution. This position is also responsible for the development and ongoing management of facility-specific written programs, industrial hygiene sampling, and regulatory reporting for various clients, as required.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Traveling to out-of-state client facilities
• Traveling locally to client facilities
• Conducting compliance walkthroughs and Gap Analyses
• Preparing and/or presenting trainings compliant with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations
• Identifying required written EHS programs based on facility operations
• Developing facility specific written EHS programs
• Regulatory report preparation such as Tier II, TRI and Chemical Data Reporting
• Assisting in respirator fit testing
• Supporting TSCA notification obligations
• Supporting Supervisor in TCPA and DPCC audits
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

• 1/2 + years EHS Industry Experience (may include internships)
• Minimum 4-year degree in science or related field
• Excellent communication skills and ability to write comprehensive reports
• Exceptional organizational skills with a high attention to detail
• Must demonstrate time management skills and be able to meet client-driven deadlines
• Familiar with Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Willing to submit to Motor Vehicle background check
