Salary Range: $106,900 - $154,700 annually (salary range is based on market data; final salary offered is determined by education, experience, and qualifications of the applicant).

The rapid growth of AI and digitalization is fueling unprecedented demand for data centers that require large, reliable sources of energy. In response to this market trend, the Renewables & Clean Power (R&CP) team have signed an early works contract to build one of the largest gas fired power generation facilities in the U.S. Our team is helping the customer progress early-stage development, that would lead to the start of full EPC delivery this year.

The candidate will act as the Field Engineer – Subcontract Coordinator on the Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) Project in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The candidate may start in the home office in Reston-VA; as single status, to support preconstruction planning, ahead of project mobilization to the field. This position is contingent upon project awards.

In this role, you will provide project field engineering specialization and expertise with work planning and packaging, material management, quantity verification and validation, safety and quality control, technical inspection and testing knowledge, and subcontract coordination. Your recommendations will ensure field engineering activities operate safely, are complete, and conform to quality standards and project requirements. Your primary responsibility will be related to the subcontract executed portions of the project, but may evolve to include support of direct hire scopes of work as directed by the Area Field Engineer.

Work Planning & Packaging

Prepares construction drawings and sketches pertaining to a subcontract scope of work.

Facilitates planning construction methods and procedures.

Material Management

Initiates requisitions for field purchases

Prepares quantity takeoffs of field purchased material and equipment.

Issues Material Withdrawal Requests (MWRs) to subcontractors…
