The OpportunityAs the Project Controls Lead Analyst - Oil & Gas Scheduler
, you will have the opportunity to:
- Work in a Manager/Specialist position assigned to a role in Project Controls
- Have supervisory/lead responsibility over a group of project controls personnel and would be responsible for overall performance management.
- Be responsible for hiring, discipline, and pay administration of their subordinates
- Function as a technical specialist who develops advanced concepts.
- Manages a diverse team of professionals and able to achieve successful results/or is able to function as a technical specialist developing advanced concepts.
- Leads planning and schedule preparation on more complex projects including startup planning.
- Addresses contractual requirements related to schedule control.
- As required by the business unit, expert in scheduling forensics.
- Leads project controls team on the most complex and highest risk projects. Is an integral part of the management team for project success.
- Collaborates with the project management leadership team to ensure project success.
- Identifies improvements to processes.
- Leads in developing staff capabilities.
- Recognized as an expert in a project controls specialist area.
- Develop tools, systems & processes to optimize effectiveness.
Supervises work of others. Responsible for hiring, discipline, and pay administration of their subordinates.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience in the oil and gas industry and expert level Primavera P6 experience.
- Master's degree or local equivalent in Engineering or Construction Management
- Experience serving in a Leadership role for a medium- to large-sized EPC project in both Home Office and Field
- Certificate from either PMI or AACE.
- Four-year Bachelor's degree with eight or more years of relevant Cost Control of Planning & Scheduling experience OR no four-year Bachelor's degree required with ten years or more of relevant Cost Control or Planning & Scheduling experience in Home Office or Field Office.
