- Work on complex, adhesive and equipment-related projects with a focus on the semiconductor/ optics/ micro electronics market
- Take responsibility for the development of customer‑specific solutions through to full process integration
- Identify and implement the right technical solutions for our customers in close collaboration with the Sales Engineering team
- Support and manage DELO Equipment Activities, including UV LED lamps and dispensing systems
- Drive our growth through excellent technical consultation of customers across North America, working hand‑in‑hand with Sales Engineers
- Systematically identify new technologies in cooperation with Sales and Product Management, and implement them into customers' production processes
- Conduct feasibility studies, derive appropriate follow‑up measures, and present results to internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain close communication with various DELO teams worldwide
- Provide comprehensive technical support to sales engineers — on‑site, virtually, or by phone
Skills:
- You are located in or willing to relocate to the Greater Boston Area (MA)
- Degree in Engineering, e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Material Engineering, Automation, Electrical Engineering , or a related technical field (Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree welcome)
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical environment — preferably as an Application Engineer in the adhesive or semiconductor/ optics/ micro electronics sector
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems independently and systematically
- Prior expertise in adhesives is not required — you will receive intensive and hands‑on training at our headquarters in Germany
- Willingness to travel as required (domestically and internationally)
