What You'll Do
+ Design building electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, lighting controls, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems.
+ Create and coordinate construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD.
+ Collaborate with engineers, architects, project managers, and other design disciplines.
+ Perform electrical calculations, lighting studies, and power system analysis.
+ Apply building codes and industry standards to ensure safe and compliant designs.
+ Support project production through drawings, models, specifications, and technical documentation.
+ Participate in project coordination meetings and help solve technical design challenges.
+ Contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on quality and innovation.
What We're Looking For
+ Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
+ 1-5 years of experience in building systems design, electrical engineering, or MEP consulting
+ Recent graduates with relevant internships or project experience are encouraged to apply
+ Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD
+ Strong understanding of electrical power and lighting systems
+ Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
+ Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Preferred Qualifications
+ EIT certification or on track to obtain
+ AGi
32 experience for lighting calculations
+ SKM experience for power system analysis
+ Familiarity with Bluebeam Revu
+ LEED AP, WELL AP, RCDD, or other industry certifications a plus
+ Interest in professional growth and long-term career development

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $58.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
