We are looking for a highly talented structural engineers with 0-10 years of structural engineering experience for our Portland office. These full-time positions are available to qualified applicants who excel in a dynamic working environment and are self-motivated. The ideal candidate excels in coordination with other disciplines, possess strong design technical skills, and has the ability to manage their own work efforts along with those of their discipline team.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop structural projects from conceptual planning through design documents and construction.
- Collaborate with Architects, Interior Designers, Civil Engineers, Landscape Architects, and MEP consultant teams on projects.
- Perform and lead structural gravity and lateral calculations on a wide variety of projects.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
- 0 to 10 years of structural experience with relevant project types.
- A professional engineering (PE) license, or working towards licensure.
- Working knowledge of codes (ASCE 7, ASCE 41, ACI, AISC, etc.)
- Ability to assist in coordinating and assembling an entire set of construction documents on small to medium projects.
- Candidates with experience with steel and interested in working on projects focused on manufacturing and semiconductor projects is a plus.
- Open to new ideas and challenges
