We’re partnering with a privately owned, growing manufacturer that is looking for a Product Design Engineer to support new product development from concept through production.

This is a strong fit for a hands-on mechanical design engineer with proven experience designing sheet metal parts, plastic injection molded parts, formed components, and manufacturable products
.

The company is stable, growth-focused, and financially strong, with no debt and an all-cash business model
. This role is open because of company growth, and you’ll work directly with leadership and alongside an experienced product engineer who has been with the company for 15+ years
.

• Design mechanical products from concept through production using Solid Works
  .
• Create 3D models, drawings, BOMs, and release documentation
  .
• Design parts and assemblies involving sheet metal, plastic injection molding, formed parts, and manufactured components
  .
• Apply DFM and DFA principles to make products easier, faster, and more cost-effective to manufacture.
• Support prototyping, testing, validation, and design improvements.
• Perform basic engineering analysis, including FEA, tolerance stack-ups, stress checks, and thermal assessments
  .
• Work with Manufacturing, Quality, Suppliers, and Product Management to solve design and production issues.
• Support continuous improvement efforts to improve quality, reduce cost, and shorten lead times.

• Mechanical product design experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with Solid Works
  .
• Proven experience designing sheet metal and/or plastic injection molded parts
  .
• Ability to take products from concept, prototype, testing, validation, and production release
  .
• Strong understanding of DFM, DFA, tolerances, materials, and manufacturability
  .
• Experience creating finished drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally with manufacturing and suppliers.
• Experience with fans, ventilation, HVAC components, or system-level mechanical products is a plus.

• $105,000-$120,000 salary plus bonus
