Senior Transportation Project Manager

A multi-discipline engineering firm with over 50 years in business is looking for a Senior Transportation Project Manager for their Milwaukee office! This is a hybrid position that includes in office work three days a week and remote work two days per week. Responsibilities include leading transportation infrastructure projects, establishing work plans/staffing for projects, coordinating engineer, technician, and production staff activities, preparing reports, specifications, and communications, assisting with business development, conducting meetings with internal teams and clients, supervising design/technical development, ensuring project goals are met within time/budget constraints, ensuring projects are delivered profitably, preparing design calculations/plans for a variety of design projects, collaborating with engineers, designers, and technicians, mentoring/training junior staff, and traveling to client meetings as needed.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with an emphasis on transportation or highway design, 8+ years of highway design/plan development or related transportation experience, 5+ years of experience managing multi-disciplined projects, PE License in the State of Wisconsin; registration in two or more states preferred, strong working knowledge of the project development process, previous business development experience, ability to write descriptive/technically accurate proposals, specifications, and reports, ability to participate in, facilitate, or lead project team meetings, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook), experience working with Micro Station and/or Open Roads, experience collaborating with a multi-disciplined team of highway design, traffic, bridge (structural), and water resources engineering professionals preferred, and working knowledge of Wisconsin DOT design/plan standards preferred.
