A renewable energy company is seeking a Principal Engineer, High Voltage Engineering to serve as the technical project lead for high-voltage infrastructure supporting utility-scale solar, storage, and hybrid energy projects. This individual will provide technical leadership and coordination across substations, switchyards, collector substations, interconnection facilities, and associated high-voltage infrastructure from detailed design through construction and commissioning.
This role is ideal for a senior electrical engineer who has successfully led complex HV projects and can effectively manage multiple stakeholders, engineering firms, owner's engineers, EPC contractors, vendors, and utilities. While the position requires a strong high-voltage engineering foundation, the primary focus is on technical project leadership, coordination, scope management, schedule alignment, risk mitigation, and ensuring engineering deliverables meet project requirements.
The Principal Engineer will serve as the central technical point of contact across multiple project teams and help drive successful project execution across a growing portfolio of renewable energy developments.
This is a fully remote role needing to work 8-3
PST hours.
