Design Engineer

Position Responsibilities:

Responsible for preparing 3D model of piping and equipment’s using P&’s and Piping standards. Prepare and Check Piping layouts, Equipment layouts, Piping Isometrics, Responsible for Piping supports design, Skid piping design, rack piping, Responsible for Area plan drawings, and Piping spec creation in Cadworx. Responsible for creation of Piping line list, valve list and Piping bill of materials. Review piping 3d model with Navisworks.

Telecommuting and working from home permitted from anywhere in the U.S. Travel and relocation possible to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S. Domestic travel required approximately 10% of the time to various client sites. Required

Skills & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering Technologies or Mechanical Engineering followed by 6 years of experience in the job offered or 6 years of experience in the related occupations of Principal Engineer or equivalent. Prior experience must include 6 years of experience with Auto CAD 2D, Cadworx Plant and Navisworks. Travel and relocation possible to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S. Domestic travel required approximately 10% of the time to various client sites.
