About the Role
Our client is seeking an innovative and experienced Remote Telecoms Solutions Architect to design and deliver cutting-edge communication solutions for their clients across the country, with a particular focus on supporting initiatives in the Eastern Cape . This is a fully remote position, requiring a strategic mindset to conceptualize and architect complex telecommunications systems that meet diverse business needs. You will be at the forefront of designing integrated solutions involving network infrastructure, cloud services, and unified communications, working independently and collaboratively with virtual teams.

- Design comprehensive telecommunications solutions, including network infrastructure, voice, video, and collaboration platforms.
- Translate client business requirements into technical solution designs and architecture blueprints.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate hardware, software, and service providers.
- Develop proposals, technical documentation, and presentations for clients and internal teams.
- Provide technical guidance and support during the implementation phase of solutions.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and emerging technologies in telecommunications and cloud computing.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of experience in designing and implementing complex telecommunications solutions.
- Strong understanding of IP networking, VoIP, unified communications, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and cybersecurity principles.
- Proven ability to architect integrated solutions involving various network and communication technologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders remotely.
- Experience with SDN, NFV, and modern network management platforms is a plus.
