What Success Looks LikeThe successful candidate will be a trusted advisor to clients, a leader within project teams, and a contributor to the continued growth of SEH's Nebraska operations.
This role offers significant autonomy and flexibility to pursue opportunities, develop relationships, and build a career path aligned with your strengths and interests.
This Opportunity- Develop and maintain relationships with municipal, public-sector, and private clients throughout Nebraska.
- Identify, pursue, and win new project opportunities.
- Serve as Project Manager for a variety of civil engineering projects.
- Lead project teams from pursuit through design and construction.
- Prepare project approaches, scopes of work, and fee proposals.
- Partner with technical staff and business development leaders to develop winning strategies and client solutions.
- Represent SEH at client meetings, public meetings, industry organizations, and professional events.
- Mentor engineers, designers, and technical staff while helping shape a positive team culture.
- Collaborate with professionals across multiple disciplines to provide innovative solutions for clients.
- Help expand SEH's presence and reputation throughout Nebraska and surrounding markets.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Nebraska or ability to obtain Nebraska licensure.
- Demonstrated experience managing civil engineering projects and client relationships.
- Proven ability to develop business opportunities, prepare proposals, and win work.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage project budgets, schedules, and client expectations.
