Company Description
0 Base Design is a design and engineering organization specializing in electro-mechanical systems, RF detection and localization, complex real-time sensor and processing systems, and machine learning solutions. The team focuses on research and development that challenges legacy assumptions, grounded in rigorous engineering analysis and clear functional requirements. Core expertise includes acoustic and RF system analysis and design, high speed data acquisition and telemetry electronics, and systems engineering.
Design excellence is a primary motivation, driving innovative systems that sense, process, and interact with multiple phenomena.
The Electrical Engineer will work on the design, analysis, and implementation of electrical and electro-mechanical systems that support acoustics and RF detection, power distribution, and real-time sensor platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing schematics and layouts, performing power systems studies, conducting simulations, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical designs into complex systems. The role involves preparing technical documentation, supporting prototype development and testing, troubleshooting hardware issues, and contributing to system-level architecture decisions.
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Raleigh, NC, with a mix of on-site collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility to support project needs and productivity.
