As a member of this fast‑paced and highly motivated team, you will use your creativity and diverse range of engineering training to explore solutions to a variety of building mechanical system problems. The Mechanical Engineer will participate in the production, design, and construction phases of the project on a diverse range of building types. The candidate will work cross‑functionally with other disciplines and multiple project teams.

* This is a remote work position. Candidates must be located in the Gainesville/Jacksonville, Florida area.*
Qualifications & Skills- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering required
- 3‑5+ years of experience designing and developing projects from concept to completion
- Mechanical engineer with experience in HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection design for commercial construction, including preparing construction documents, engineering reports, and conducting field investigations
- Experience in designing projects valued at over $5 million in construction cost
- Must be able to prepare deliverables including: calculations, technical reports, drawings, and specifications
- Detailed knowledge of general building construction and mechanical systems is essential
- Excellent analytical and technical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- LEED BD+C and CxA certification is a bonus
