We are seeking a mid-level to senior-level candidate in Structural Engineering with a minimum of eight to ten years of experience in the design of commercial, institutional, and industrial structures, both new and existing construction for our Orange County office. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, have a desire to work and grow with a multidisciplinary engineering team, and be willing to have fun.

• Perform and may oversee structural analysis, design, and detailing on a variety of projects.
• Collaborate with the architect, owner, and contractor to provide a well-coordinated and high-quality set of structural drawings.
• May lead a team of engineers, designers, and drafters to execute structural designs.
• Meet with the project team to ensure effective communication flow during design.
• Interest and ability to advance to a senior engineer or project manager position.

• Experience with computer analysis software systems.
• Excellent leadership, supervisory, and writing and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable consulting architectural practices.
• Ability to build and maintain a strong team of professionals and support staff within a cooperative multidisciplinary office performing at a high level of satisfaction to clients.
• Possess strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical abilities.
• Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and time management skills.

• B.S. degree in Civil or Structural engineering required.
• Master’s degree in structural engineering preferred.
• Minimum of six years of professional experience in the structural design of buildings or similar structures. Experience in DSA and/or HCAI projects preferred.

Approximate Base Salary – $95,000 - $140,000 based on experience.

• Paid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rate.
• Competitive end‑of‑year discretionary bonus based on company/team/personal performance.
• Hybrid work schedule (subject to change). The office may provide flexibility to work from home some of the time; specifics will be worked out with your manager following your hire.
• 401(k) with maximum of 5% contribution matching for 9% employee contribution.
