Mechanical Designer

Our client, a leader in the automotive industry, is seeking a Mechanical Designer
- Process Designer to join their team. As a Mechanical Designer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting various design initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Southfield, MI

Pay Range: $26.00-$32.00 Hourly

What's the Job?

• Build and maintain a Siemens Process Designer PLM database for architectural areas.

• Support the lead designer in creating deliverables generated within Process Designer.

• Conduct maintenance work on the database and generate various process designer reports.

• Utilize Siemens NX CAD software for product investigations and compliance checks.

• Collaborate with multiple lead process personnel across various projects.

What's Needed?

• 3+ years of mechanical design and engineering experience in Process Design.

• Moderate/Strong PLM Database experience.

• Experience with Siemens NX and GM Team Center preferred.

• Ability to work independently and within small engineering teams.

• Basic understanding of mechanical design sequences and controls documents.
