Open Train is seeking an Industrial Design CAD Question Writer to review complex multi-part assemblies in native FreeCAD format and convert technical design knowledge into high-quality AI training content. You will analyze how assemblies are designed and organized, then create precise technical questions with exact, non-guessable answers.

This opportunity is suited to a domain specialist who can interpret CAD details, explain complex design concepts clearly, and produce structured content with a meticulous standard of accuracy. The project is open to entry-level applicants who meet the stated technical requirements.

You will examine each assembly carefully, identify the details that matter for understanding its design, and turn those observations into objective assessment content. Questions and answers must be clear, precise, and unambiguous rather than dependent on guesswork.

You will also provide feedback and suggestions that support ongoing improvements to project processes and content quality.

• Review multi-part CAD assemblies and interpret their design intent
• Identify important assembly features, functions, structures, and relationships
• Write several unique technical questions and exact answers for each assembly
• Ensure questions and answers are objective, clear, precise, and unambiguous
• Apply mechanical engineering, aerospace, or industrial design knowledge to technical analysis

You should have a background in mechanical engineering, aerospace, or industrial design, along with strong foundational CAD knowledge and experience interpreting multi-part assemblies. The work requires careful analysis of CAD files, assembly drawings, and technical documentation.

Prior experience creating technical documentation, assessment materials, or comparable structured content is required. Familiarity with FreeCAD or a similar CAD software environment is helpful, but previous FreeCAD experience is not required.

• Knowledge of mechanical engineering, aerospace, or industrial design applied to CAD assemblies
