Mercor is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a remote contract role, 2–3 months, 40 hours/week, $60–$90/hour. You will evaluate mechanical tasks, write clear specs, and design evaluation sets in mechanical design and thermal systems.
The candidate should have a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years of experience, and proficiency with major CAD/FEA tools. Familiarity with ASME Y14.5 GD&T and experience with large language models is valued.
