About the Role
Our client is looking for a dedicated Aviation Safety Compliance Specialist to join their global, remote-first safety team. You will be responsible for monitoring compliance, developing and implementing safety policies, and conducting remote audits to identify and mitigate risks. Key Responsibilities- Monitor and interpret evolving aviation safety regulations from various global authorities.
- Develop, update, and implement comprehensive safety policies and procedures across the organization.
- Conduct remote audits and assessments of operational areas to ensure compliance and identify potential hazards.
- Investigate safety deviations and incidents, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for regulatory bodies and internal management.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Safety Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation safety and regulatory compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of international aviation regulations (e.g., ICAO, EASA, FAA, SA-CAA).
- Proven experience in conducting safety audits and risk assessments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities for remote teamwork.
