Mazzetti's Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) Consulting Engineering Practice is dedicated to designing high performance, resilience, and sustainable solutions for the built environment, with a keen focus on Healthcare and Infrastructure projects. Our team of experts combines technical excellence with a collaborative, client-focused approach to deliver exceptional outcomes.

We are seeking a mid-senior level Electrical Designer or Engineer to join our growing Atlanta team. This role focuses on hands‑on electrical design and calculations for healthcare and other mission-critical facilities. You'll take projects from start to finish, interact directly with clients, lead project meetings, and work independently with minimal oversight. • Design electrical systems for healthcare, medical office building (MOB), data center, and other complex commercial projects.
• Take projects from start to finish, including design, construction documents, and construction administration.
• Design power distribution, lighting and lighting controls, and low‑voltage systems as needed.
• Perform electrical calculations, such as load, voltage drop, and lighting calculations.
• Prepare electrical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, client requirements, and Mazzetti quality expectations.

• Work directly with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors throughout each project.
• Lead project meetings and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Manage your own design work and deadlines with minimal oversight.
• Provide construction administration support, including responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, and resolving technical issues.
• Perform quality control reviews of electrical drawings and specifications.

• Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams across Mazzetti offices.
• Share technical knowledge with junior team members.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, technical knowledge sharing, and engineering best practices.

This is a hybrid position based in the Atlanta, GA area, involving primarily working from home, client site visits throughout Georgia, and occasional presence in our Atlanta office as needed for project collaboration and team‑building activities.

Approximately 10–15% travel, primarily within the Atlanta market and Southeast region based on project assignments.
