Scopely is looking for a Release Manager to join Monopoly GO! game team in our Culver City studio hub, or remotely within the US & Canada.

What You Will DoYou will bring your expertise to our growing Release Management organization, partnering closely with QA, Engineering, Production, and Incident Management to ensure that every release — client, server, data, and live operations — is predictable, stable, and delivered with excellence to delight our players.
- Shepherd work through our release management process
- Guide new features through our release process, ensuring they proceed from scope lock to post-release care
- Coordinate with pod owners, Production, and QA to close bugs before key release milestones
- Communicate daily release status, release priorities, and schedule changes to stakeholders across the game team
- Manage platform releases, from kicking‑off builds to rollout monitoring
- Actively participate in risk mitigation planning for upcoming releases and go / no‑go decisions
- Grow and improve with us
- Complete regular release health reporting and postmortems
- Take process improvements and action items following incidents
- Develop a living release calendar that can flex for planned and unplanned changes
- Document and refine our release process
- Excellent communication skills, with experience applying them in multicultural & remote working environments
- 3+ years of experience as a project manager, QA manager, or release manager working on mobile games as a live service
- A passionate builder and player of mobile games, with an interest in the casual game genre
- An autonomous, self‑starter that is able to proactively identify and mitigate risks while sharing findings out to a broader team
- A new team member who is committed to growing their skills and contributing their knowledge to improve the people and processes around them
- Familiarity with build orchestration tools, live monitoring tools, and test case management tools
- Familiarity with Test flight, App Store Connect, and the Google Play Developer console
- Experience applying AI and/or automation to improve existing business processes
- Experience performing risk assessments for mobile game releases
For candidates in CA, CO, NJ, NY, and WA, the annual salary range is $91,300 — $140,000 USD. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for equity, bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, pet insurance, paid holidays, paid Scopely free days, and unlimited paid time off. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
