Auto Claims Specialist I (Management Level, Individual Contributor).

Hourly base pay: $16.59 – $24.86 per hour, based on location and qualifications. Commission and incentive plans may also apply. The role is hybrid, allowing remote work part of the week, no fixed shift schedule.

• Review customer claims for compliance with Manheim National Arbitration policies and account‑specific guidelines.
• Investigate basic and less complex cases (e.g., late title, basic condition report, vehicle availability, post‑sale inspection failures, undisclosed damages).
• Coordinate with departments involved in the complaint (reconditioning, front office, dealer services, vehicle entry, etc.) during fact‑finding and investigative phases.
• Use appropriate resources to obtain, compare and validate information; facilitate inspection, documentation, and communication to move cases forward.
• Resolve cases based on financial approval authority limits.
• Evaluate claims through data comparison and validation.
• Prepare and facilitate communication for resolution via phone, email, and in‑person discussion.
• Mediator disputes and negotiate repair or pricing to reach mutually acceptable solutions and keep vehicles sold.
• Maintain accurate records for each arbitration case, verifying documentation such as invoices and settlement agreements.
• Escalate cases when necessary in collaboration with supervisor/manager.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Minimum
  :
  High school diploma or GED; less than 2 years of relevant experience; accuracy, attention to detail, strong organization and time‑management skills; adaptability in a fluid environment.
• Preferred
  : 1+ years in automotive or body‑shop work; experience as a claims adjuster.
