Online Auction and Specialist

Overview

Online Auction and Relocation Specialist (Austin, TX) – part-time position with Caring Transitions Greater Austin. You will help seniors with transitions, including organizing estate-related activities, packing/unpacking, and assisting with resettling families into their new spaces. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.

• Provide world class customer service to clients and team.
• Prepare homes for liquidations, online auctions, and in-person estate sales.
• Photograph and write descriptions for items for online estate sale auctions.
• Professionally pack and unpack household goods.
• Sort and organize items for recycling, donation, disposal, and cleanout.
• Maintain regular attendance on assigned shifts with punctuality and attention to detail.
• Use smart devices and apps for auction processing (technical ability required).
• Communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).
• Complete tasks in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, climb stairs, lift up to 25 lb, and move items to/from vehicles and in and around the home.
• Work in dirty and/or cluttered environments when required.
• Must have reliable transportation and be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license.

• Strong character and integrity with a professional attitude and demeanor.
• Ability to work in a flexible, part-time to as-needed schedule.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment background check.

• Starting Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour.
• Pay increases in the first 90 days based on performance and productivity.
